We are renting a huge House (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, study, 2 reception rooms, dining room and a big garden) for the price of a 3 bedroom flat! How comes? The house is going to be knocked down in August to make room for a block of flats and we have two big building sites (noise is surprisingly ok) in the neighbourhood so there was not much demand for this place. Usually they don't throw nice properties at jobless foreigners.
Nevertheless the house is great. The living room is huge (Sebastian can play football in it) and rather empty because we have hardly got any furniture. Even after an extensive shopping spree at Ikea our belongings seem rather sparse in this vast place.
