8th March 2008: Sebastian is sitting on the sofa trying to get the yoghurt out of the cup and into his mouth without loosing too much on the way. Thank god the sofa is easy-clean because we are house-sitting a fiends flat while they are on holiday in New Zealand. This place is fabulous: 14th floor prime location in Sydney Harbour and even the kitchen has views of the opera house and harbour bridge (first time in my life that I actually love doing the dishes). Sebastian greets every boat that floats past the huge floor-to ceiling windows with entusiasm (And there are a lot of them, especially the weekends remind you of picadilly circus).

And there is a playground downstairs. Unfortunately us poor immigrants can't afford a place here. But there are lots of pleasant suburbs which are still cheaper than London (although not much I must admit) and we are house hunting now. Of course with a guest bedroom for all our future vistors....
Jetlag is almost conquered. Sebastian sleeps up to 7 am in the morning and so do we and the tiredness during the day has gone. But it is still tempting to doze off when lying on the beach! The weather is nice and hot while friends and family in Europe are freezing.

Sebastian loves big boats!
