It began with a nurse wanting to work a year abroad. London had a lot to offer (jobs and more) and there she was in the big city. Enjoying herself but terribly missing her boyfriend back in Munich. So luckily he lost his job there and found one in London! They moved in together and it went very well. They loved life in the big chaotic city but the rents were very expensive. So they decided to buy a flat...
And then we went house hunting in this expensive place. All we could afford was a nice size flat in dire need of renovation. And that's what we did! Painting, plastering, laying floors, even gardening! And we changed it quite a bit. See for yourself the before and after.
