Yes, winter has arrived in Sydney! Still a bit early and with a weather phenomenon that we really did not expect here in Australia!
OK, if you take a closer look you can actually see that it is not snow but hailstones.
But still this downpour of 1cm hailstones during a thunderstorm was quite impressive. And it really looked a bit like snow. Together with the candles we lit during the following powercut it triggered a bit of christmas feeling and inspired us to singing "Silent night". Shame that we didn't have any Gluehwein!
