Aftermath of Cyclone Yasi

On the 3rd of February 2011 "Cyclone Yasi", one of the most powerful cyclones ever to hit Queensland made landfall on the coast around Mission Beach. It caused massive destruction, not only to houses but also to the vegetation. Banana plantations were flattened and trees were stripped of leaves and branches. Nature eventually started to recover. But the effects will be seen for a long time.
