As the weather is less hot these days it's the perfect time to go for a bushwalk. Again we started from our own front door.
Jetzt da die Tage nicht mehr ganz so heiss sind ist es ideal zum Wandern. Wieder mal sind wir direkt von zu Hause losgestartet.
About 15 mins walk gets us to a park entrance and the beginning of the "Cascades Track".
In ca. 15 Minuten kommt man dann zu einem der Nationalparktore und dem Beginn des "Cascades Track".
Intersting plants along the way...
Ulkige Pflanzen am Wegesrand...
... and the odd sighting of wildlife makes it even more enjoyable for Sebastian.
... und interessanteres Getier begeistern vor allem Sebastian.
The "Cascades" are a series of small waterfalls, rock platforms and rock pools. Remains of a sandstone wall, built around 1928, to dam the first pool for better swimming, still exist.
Die "Kaskaden" sind eine Anreihung von kleinen Wasserfällen und Felsenbecken. Es gibt sogar noch Reste einer Sandsteinmauer die das erste Becken eingedämmt hat damit man besser darin schwimmen konnte.
This is the perfect spot for a picnic.
Ein herrliches Plätzchen für ein Picnick.
Or to get wet. (Shortly after this photo was taken, Sebastian slipped.)
Oder um nass zu werden. (Kurz nach diesem Foto ist Sebastian dann ausgerutscht.)
