And the trip went surprisingly well. Having left Sydney on a Quantas plane heading for Singapore, the airport was a welcome opportunity to stretch and move our legs and stroll around the many shops. Nearly bought a beautiful pair of black leather boots but of course they didn't have them in my size !!!
The connecting flight to Munich was delayed for about 45 mins because of heavy snowfall in Munich!!! Unfortunately by the time we arrived, the temperature had risen and the winter wonderland had shrunk down to a few scruffy patches of the white stuff. Just enough to satisfy Sebastian who insisted on seeing snow on his arrival.
Now we are trying to get over our jetlag, adjust to 10 hour time difference and get used to the lousy weather. (About 5 mins walk in freezing cold rain was all it took to show us why we are living in Sydney.)
