Winter in Australia doesn't mean ugly weather is keeping you inside. Quite the opposite: Bright sunshine and temperatures up to 19 degrees Celsius (66F) are perfect for a walk in one of the many National Parks surrounding Sydney. The closest one to the north is Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
Winter in Australien bedeutet nicht, dass einen das schlechte Wetter ins Haus verbannt. Ganz im Gegenteil: Strahlender Sonnenschein und Temperaturen bis 19 Grad sind perfekt um in einem der vielen Nationalparks rund um Sydney zu wandern. Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park ist im Norden der nächste.
As we didn't know how well Sebastian would do with walking and whether Anna would be fine in the Backpack, we chose a short walk to start with.
Da wir nicht wussten wie gut sich Sebastian beim Wandern und Anna im Rucksack machen würden, entschieden wir uns mit einem kurzen Weg anzufangen.

Den "Berg" wieder runter.
Sebastian was unstoppable so we continued straight into the next track. (Only did half of it though.)
Sebsastian war nicht kaputtzukriegen und so sind wir gleich in den nächsten Wanderweg abgebogen (allerdings nach der Hälfte umgekehrt).
Ending the afternoon in Dee Why with some relaxing on the grass and some ice cream. (Already eaten.)
Zum Abschluss noch in Dee Why auf der Wiese liegen und Eis essen (zum Zeitpunkt des Fotos bereits verdrückt).

wir freuen uns, daß ihr so schön wandern könnt. Tolle Bilder und Anna ist schon so groß. Das Jäckchen schicke ich aber trotzdem mit. Ich glaube es ist schon zu klein. Zumindest wird es eine Erinnerung an die Oma.
