A great day out ...

... at the zoo with Corinne and Kim. Taronga Zoo is vast, so there is a lot to see and to do. Like watching the giraffes having their lunch.
Sydney's Taronga Zoo ist so gross und vielfaeltig, dass einem nie langweilig wird. Man kann z.B. Giraffen beim Mittagessen beobachten.

Or taking a ride on a giraffe (ok this one is not real).
Oder auf einer reiten (ok, die hier ist nicht echt.)

In the "Walkabout" area we saw a mother and baby wallaby.
Eine Wallabie Mutter mit Baby.

And got really close to this kangaroo.
Und ein freundliches Kaenguru.

There is also a little pool, to splash around on a hot day like this.
Es gibt auch ein Planschbecken fuer heisse Tage!

Even more fun if you are using the empty food containers from your lunch.
Sehr effektiv zum rumspritzen sind auch die leeren Container vom Mittagessen.
