Berry Island Reserve

At the southern end of Wollstonecraft you find Berry Island Reserve. A lovely little nature reserve on a peninsula in Balls Head Bay. It took us only about 20 mins to walk there (the way back was considerably longer because it is steeply uphill). There is a great playground, too. Sebastian loves the climbing wall.
The swings come with birds on top. You can't get more nature than that.
The best thing however is the 0.8 km walking track trough the reserve. It provides not only great harbour views but also ancient Aboriginal art carved in rocks.
And as the track is not pram-friendly, guess who walked it all on his own?
